I wrote a children’s board book called Petite Mouse Takes a Nap- to help parents with precious little one get them to sleep. Sleep and rest and quiet time is so important for brain development and for parents to have some self care time. I also directed and produced an award winning short documentary film called Top Row about how important music is to high school students as they navigate the world as young adults.
In honor of these children, our children and children everywhere my charity of choice is Save the Children.
10% goes to Save the Children's work in the United States and around the world, has changed the lives of over 1 billion children.
Working in over 100 countries, doing whatever it takes — every day and in times of crisis — to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.
Save the Children programs and partners helped 105.9 million children in 115 countries become healthier, safer and better educated.
As the world's leading expert on childhood, they believe that every child deserves a future. This belief is at the heart of everything they do.
Follows what happens when when one choir teacher turns 70 high school freshman boys who can't sing into seasoned choral performers. Imagine these teenagers, from all walks of life, in one class as they compete like athletes on the playing field of chorus risers to take the Top Row, while discovering themselves, each other, and a love for singing. Their spirit and voices will uplift your heart.
